Jacksonville Zoo

One of our favorite day trips is to the Jacksonville Zoo. Here are some cute pics from some recent trips there.

Christmas Carol

Our church put on a childrens production of A Christmas Carol this year. Rebecca played the part of a school mate of Scrooge's past. She had one line "See you after vacation!" and she nailed it! Grandmommy sent this beautiful dress a week earlier, and it turned out to be the perfect costume for Victorian England, don't you think?

The Nutcracker

I decided this was the year to take Rebecca to see the Nutcracker. Nancy and two of her sisters joined us at the Phillips Center for the local dance company production. Rebecca LOVED the first act, at one point saying to me, "Thank-you Mommy for bringing me here. I love it!" The second act, not so much. The main thing she kept saying during the 2nd act, was, "How many more dances till it's over?"

Doesn't Rebecca look beautiful in this gorgeous dress? Grandmommy sent it to her to wear to this event. Totally her color and style of dress. She still wears it once or twice a week.

Christmas

Usually Nancy and O host all family get-togethers at their house. This year, we offered to host Christmas at our house. Everyone had a GREAT time. Me included. Of course, I had 3 or 4 or 5 glasses of wine punch which probably helped. Anyway- here are a few favorite pics from the day.

OK- This was funny. We gave Rebecca the DVD game Dance Dance Revolution. O and Rob had had a few drinks in them at this point, and decided to join in the fun. I have a video of this too...

These matching PJs are a gift from Nancy and O. So CUTE! The kids wore them every night the week of Christmas.
