Magiquest

So, the first day we arrived in Myrtle Beach, Rebecca saw the billboard and the ad in the coupon book for Magiquest, and insisted that we go there. It was the one place she wanted to go more than any other place. The concept is way cool. You buy a magic wand, choose your experience package, and then go on a magic quest. Once the magic wands are activated, they can be used to open treasure chests, make statues talk, light things open, make tv screens become animated, etc. Plus, you can go on different "quests, " which involve solving clues to find items hidden around the magical world. We thought it was really cool, but unfortunately it was also very very busy, and it was hard to hear what the characters and statues, etc. were saying. The kids were done after 45 minutes, eyes glazed over. The good part is that once you buy the wand, the next time you go back, you only have to pay $11/ hour to play again. So, we're hoping that maybe next year it will go better. (I kind of want to play myself!)
