Last week, we went to Myrtle Beach for a family vacation. Can't really say that we had a great time however. It was pretty hot and crowded, and the kids misbehaved and fought what seemed like the entire time. We left two days early, and both children's exhibited angelic behavior upon returning home, and have been well behaved ever since. So- maybe it will be awhile before the next vacation. Still, we had moments of fun...

We went to the Ripley's Aquarium and got to pick up and pet several animals. Here I am holding the horseshoe crab for the kids ot pet.

One day, desperate for happy children, I pulled out some pipe cleaners. It worked for a little while. This is what they did with them.

Shouldn't have read this post on the verge of leaving for a family vacation on the OBX. Hope the next one goes better. In terms of pictures, it looks like you had a blast...
I'm sure you'll have a great time. We had a compendium of problems, not the least of which is that we were there in the middle of a heat wave- 106 with heat index and it was miserable to be outside. Every place inside was mobbed, and the condo (which we part own) was not really kid friendly- lots of breakable / delicate stuff. So the kids kept getting told to stop touching stuff, etc. Hopefully- none of this will apply to you!
