Becca's broken arm

So, we couldn't get an appointment to have her arm set in a splint until 4 days after she had broken it. By the time we went to the appointment, she was barely using the sling anymore, and had regained a lot of mobility in her arm. The doctor didn't seem all that convinced that she needed a splint, but Becca was VERY excited to get one, and he suggested she wear one for two weeks. Um, I can report she wore it for exactly 4 days before abandoning it completely. Now, it does hurt her if she bangs it, or y'know, her brother attacks her with his light saber, but other than, she's pretty well recovered.

Anyhow, here we are waiting to get the splint put on. I took this one myself.

Becca got the camera and snapped a few of us...

Here she is getting the splint molded to her arm. Notice the look on her face. Such AGONY...can you tell?

And she got to choose her own colors, and opted for rainbow. The next day at school, she reported to me that so many people asked her what happened to her arm and that she got so much attention that it was "annoying." I was speechless. Never, NEVER! has she gotten so much attention that it was annoying. She LOVES getting attention. So funny.
